I attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas and received a Bachelors Degree in 1975 and a Masters Degree in 1976 . I attended law school at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and received my law degree in 1979. After law school, I returned to my home town to open my own law firm in October of 1979. I have served Northeast Arkansas since that date.
